FY23 Omaha - Douglas County, Nebraska JAG Project

The City of Omaha and Douglas County will use JAG funds to reduce violent crime, limit justice system contact, and enhance the skills of justice system personnel.

Douglas County will implement technology and improvements in crime analysis, efficiencies and resources for courts and corrections, and training and tools for law enforcement and prosecution.

The City of Omaha will use JAG funds to reduce violent crime and enhance public safety through enforcement and deterrence overtime operations; professional development for law enforcement, staff, and City law department personnel; a real-time crime center pilot; and diversion programming.
