The City of Concord and Merrimack County Law Enforcement Training and Equipment

Both, the City of Concord and the County of Merrimack seek to improve or enhance their law enforcement efficiency, effectiveness and capacity, and funds will be used to upgrade a variety of equipment and technology as well as to allow staff training opportunities that would otherwise not be accomplished through our regular department budgeting.

The funding from this grant will be used to fund the following: a one year subscription to greatly improve the Concord Police Department's ability to conduct forensics on cellular phones to improve our recovery and efficiency with digital evidence.  GrayKey is a state of the art computer crimes forensic recovery tool; further training opportunities for two investigators in advanced forensic techniques; purchase patrol uniforms; and purchase additional patrol rifles to be regularly assigned to Deputies assigned to regular patrol.
