Village of Spring Valley FY2023 JAG Project

The Village of Spring Valley will utilize JAG funding to support its Communiy Enhancement Unit, as it has done in last year's grant cycle. The majority of these funds will be used to support overtime costs for officers attending community events that they could otherwise not attend due to staffing requirements. Smaller allocations will be reserved for equipment to be used by officers at these community events, such as a pop-up tent and out-of-uniform apparel for officers to maximize approachability with the general public.
