FY23 JAG Equipment Grant

The Shawnee Police Department and the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office will use the JAG funds to purchase tools to assist officers to protect themselves and the public or to help have other options to deescalate situations. The City of Shawnee will purchase less than lethal equipment to help protect officers and provides opportunities for de-escalation.
