Both the City of Eugene and the Lane County Sheriff's Office intended to use their funds to make purchases of Equipment and less lethal munitions

The City of Eugene will use JAG funds to update their current equipment and purchase surveillance equipment for the special investigations unit. The Lane County Sheriff's Office will use JAG funds for the purchase tasers, ballistic helmets, radio headsets, a thermal camera, and night vision devices. The Sheriff's Office will also purchase less lethal munitions to replace outdated inventory.
