Portland Metropolitan Area Law Enforcement Criminal Justice FY23 JAG Program

The disparate jurisdictions of Multnomah County, the City of Portland, and the City of Gresham will use JAG funds for personnel and technology. Specifically, the City of Portland will use funds to hire and retain a 1.0 FTE Records Division Supervisor to improve efficiency, Multnomah County will use JAG funds to retain a .68 FTE Deputy District Attorney in its Justice Integrity Unit to increase public confidence in law enforcement, and the City of Gresham will use JAG funds to enhance public safety through technology by purchasing VPN  licenses to allow officers to respond more effectively in the field.
