City of Johnstown Police Technology Project

The City of Johnstown will install security cameras throughout the city to aid us in preventing and tracking crime within the city's neighborhoods. With these requested funds, the city will purchase cameras to be installed in at least two city neighborhoods. These cameras will not only act as a deterrent to crime since potential criminals will know that the city police are watching them, but they will also aid us in the prosecution of crime since we can retain video proof of crimes committed within the viewing radius.
