Dorchester County, South Carolina Sheriff's Office Specialized Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) Enhancement

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office will use JAG funds to enhance the capabilities of the Hostage Negotiator function of the SWAT team and the enhanced weapon utilization by the SWAT team.  The enhanced equipment capabilities substantially reduce the risk of injury or loss of life of law enforcement officers, suspects and bystanders.
