Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $93,293)

The county of Spartanburg will use the 2023 Local Justice Assistance grant funds to purchase (2) speed trailers to record traffic speeds and traffic patterns to facilitate more effective enforcement. Additionally, we will purchase (1) handheld x-ray imager for use in drug interdiction to help locate hidden compartments in vehicles.
