City of North Charleston FY23 Justice Assistance Grant

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Charleston, City of North Charleston and Charleston County have all agreed to keep their own funds separate. Each jurisdiction has determined what they will focus on. Charleston County will utilize its $22, 989 for Taser replacement, repair, batteries, and cartridges; funds towards salary and fringe for a general prosecutor. North Charleston will use their funds for: Message Board; Door Breacher; Pole Cam; Security Screener; Forensicsope CSI Pro Smartphone; and Intake Locker System. City of Charleston will use its for K9 Bite Suits; wetsuits; Waterproof Jackets; Outer Carriers and Outer Carrier Undershirt.
