Pharr Police Department First Offender Program

In order to address the issue of juvenile crime, the City of Pharr and the Pharr Police Department are seeking to create a First Offender program to assist families of juveniles who have run away from home for the first time or are exhibiting behavior problems to connect them with community resources and counseling. The goal of this program is to divert juvenile first offenders (Class A and Class B misdemeanors, State Jail Felonies) from the juvenile justice system and to reduce repeat offenders.
