Law enforcement equipment and technology

The College Station Police department will use JAG funds to purchase high quality portable lighting system to process crime scenes at night. The Bryan police department will use JAG funds to purchase rifle rated ballistic shields for officer safety and training weapons and munitions to prepare officers for shooting situations. The Brazos County Sheriff’s office will use JAG funds to purchase a pole camera for street surveillance to reduce crime. They will also purchase communication headsets for SWAT operators for better communication and hearing protection.
