JAG BJA FY23 for Waco and McLennan County to advance law enforcement efforts

The disparate jurisdictions of the city of Waco and the county of McLennan will use JAG funds for law enforcement equipment and training.
Specifically, the city of Waco will use JAG funds to purchase 38 Responder Gas Mask kits to ensure the safety of officers and all citizens and to purchase a subscription for a Learning Managment System to offer training to sworn officers and dispatchers to improve the quality of service to the community. The county of McLennan will use JAG funds to purchase 7 handheld/mobile radios and accessories to support the transportation and patrol division. The use of these radios will provide essential communication capabilities for deputies in the field.
