Lubbock County Joint Enforcement Initiative

The Lubbock County Joint Initiative, comprised of the Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, and Lubbock District Attorney's Office propose to continue the modernization of their departments through new software and equipment. The LPD proposes the purchase and implementation of new electronic ticket writing software and hardware. With this purchase, the department expects officers to be more efficient, have higher productivity, increase officer safety, as well as reduce ticketing errors and automated data collection. The citizens of Lubbock County are expected to benefit from the modernization of these departments as sub recipients (LSO, LCDA) intend to upgrade their hardware and software as well to obtain digital evidence for successful investigations and prosecutions.
