UTM Training Tools, Honor Guard, Rifles

The Provo Police Department proposes to purchase Honor Guard Uniforms for eight authorized officers. The purpose is to represent the Department at recognition ceremonies, memorial services, and other sanctioned events. Uniformed Honor Guard Officers may also provide services for other statewide agencies events. The Provo Police Department proposes to purchase eight weapons/rifles for the Motors Team and Patrol. Expected outcome of the purchase of this equipment will increase the safety of the officers while performing their duties, and increase the safety of the community, which is the top priority of the department.
