FY23 Ogden PD JAG Grant

The disparate jurisdictions of Ogden City and Weber County will use JAG funds for technology maintenance and equipment. Specifically, Weber County will use JAG funds to maintain a Virtra Training Simulator which improves their de-escalation techniques, ALPR Camera System maintenance used to identify criminals and reduce criminal activity, purchase ballistic shields to protect its deputies and citizens, and begin an on-line reporting system to improve quality of service. Ogden City will use JAG funds to maintain its ALPR Camera program used to identify criminals and reduce criminal activity and also purchase ballistic shields to protect its officers and Ogden citizens.
