FY23 JAG Equipment Purchase

The Albemarle County Police Department will use JAG funds to purchase a specialized pole camera which will be used to significantly enhance the safety and efficiency of our officers during potentially hazardous situations, particularly when conducting searches in confined and dangerous spaces. This will empower our law enforcement personnel with cutting-edge technology that will enable them to carry out their duties effectively while minimizing exposure to life-threatening risks.
