The Fredericksburg Police Department will use the JAG funds to acquire a trailer-mounted, LED portable and changeable message sign board to notify the public of emergency situations, events, and provide educational public safety messages. The department will also acquire seven Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs). The department responds to calls for heart attacks, stoppage of breathing, difficult breathing, and overdoses.
