The City of Charlottesville Police Dept. Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2023 - Local Solicitation

If awarded, the City of Charlottesville will use these funds for the wages and fringes for a limited term Background Investigator to assist with pre-employment background investigations of police officer candidates to support a concerted effort to bring the Police Department to full staffing so that it can better address violent crime through increased community engagement and allow officers to attend training to increase their expertise and professionalism.
