Combining law enforcement technology solutions, leadership development, and community partnerships to reduce crime.

The funds received through the JAG program will be utilized by the city of Richmond for several purposes. Firstly, they will be invested in purchasing and installing ToughBooks, enhancing situational awareness, and minimizing the time to report and process incidents during duty. This will also aid in phasing out the practice of leasing Mobile Data Computers (MDCs). Secondly, the funds will provide overtime and program surveillance to support the Richmond Adult Drug Treatment Court (RADTC) and its participants. Thirdly, the police department will collaborate with non-profit organizations and community partners to reduce crime and align with their mission and vision. Finally, the funds will be allocated to facilitate the development of the department's staff and leadership training requirements.
