Law Enforcement Programs: Police equipment including K9 Vented Equipment Lockers, Tek 84 Intercept Body Scanner, CALEA annual certification and training, CISM training registration, Sheriff Court Ord

The recipient will use JAG funds to purchase Tek 84 Intercept Body Scanner to detect, weapons, narcotics, and body temperature for detecting possible COVID-19 exposure, to purchase 16 Vented Equipment Lockers 42x24x78 for K9 unit, to continue best practices for law enforcement through CALEA accreditation and training registration, to enhance community policing through annual CISM Conference training for two sworn officers, and to provide court ordered drug treatment through the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office.
