Purchase and acquisition of law enforcement equipment and technology.

The City of Everett Police Department will use JAG funds for the purchase police vehicle equipment and technology used for the reduction of police pursuits, resulting in minimized danger to our officers and to our community. Additionally, polygraph equipment and technology purchased will assist investigators in performing the necessary functions to ensure ongoing commitment to investigate the highest degree of felony cases, as well as conducting background investigations for hiring the most suitable applicants for the police department.
