The disparate jurisdictions of Benton County, Kennewick, and Richland will use funds for equipment. Specifically, the Benton County will use JAG funds to purchase ballistic helmets and two infrared lights/lasers for officer and community safety. The City of Kennewick will purchase police portable radios which will ensure officer and community safety. The City of Richland will use funds to purchase LIDAR hand-held laser speed guns to improve community safety by combating dangerous driving practices.
