Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $73,844)

The City of Yakima will use JAG funds for overtime to increase emphasis patrols in areas of high crime and high public foot traffic. Additionally, funding will be used to purchase/maintain software that allows information from data sources to be analyzed. Yakima County will use JAG funds to purchase/replace portable radios that are becoming obsolete.
