Equipment Procurement and Crime Interdiction

The Rock County Sheriff's Office will utilize JAG funds to purchase equipment and supplies to help the agency service our community and to improve the safety of our officers.

The City of Beloit will utilize JAG funds for overtime and fringe benefits for officers to investigate firearm and violent crime activity within the Beloit community.

The City of Janesville will utilize JAG funds for officer overtime and fringe benefits to support targeted enforcement efforts within the city.

Over the course of the grant period, the three jurisdictions will work together to share ideas and information by discussing both successes and obstacles within the county. The goal of this grant is to make the county safer for all citizens of Rock County.
