Nicholas County Sheriff Department Equipment

Nicholas County Commission proposes to upgrade six of the Sheriff Departments body-worn cameras and purchase an upgraded server. Our current equipment is obsolete; without camera upgrades, we are unable to record police and citizen encounters. Our objective is to provide officers with reliable audio and video evidence. Our expected outcome is to provide equipment that will aid in the prosecution of cases, assist in proving someone’s innocence, and safeguard the truth which protects both the officers and the citizens of Nicholas County, which are the intended beneficiaries of the project.
