Enhanced Prosecutor Tools to Reduce Disparity in the Criminal Justice System

This project seeks to build and deploy new technology to allow the use of equity tools to reduce racial and ethnic disparity in the criminal justice system with a focus on the discretionary decisions made by prosecutors.  The 1st and 18th Judicial District Attorneys represent a bipartisan collaboration working. This proposal seeks funding to develop the technological tools and infrastructure to inform practice chance and collect better information about diversion, plea offers, and sentences, as well as the development and implementation of equity tools to reduce disparities in these areas.
