Jacksonville's Missing Individuals Project

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office proposes the expansion of an existing locative tracking program from twenty to 220 tracking devices, which will allow the agency to more aptly serve a city with a population of nearly one million.

The proposed project will provide locative tracking devices at no cost to voluntary participants. The project will serve individuals of any age who have forms of dementia or a developmental disability and are prone to wander from safe environments.
