Hillsborough Veterans Treatment Court Program Enhancement

The Thirteenth Judicial Circuit is applying for $950,000 over 48 months to enhance its Veterans Trauma Court.

Goals: (1) Scale up existing program capacity and develop separate tracks for low, moderate, and high-risk participants, (2) Provide criminal thinking interventions for high-risk participants; and (3) Enhance the collection and use of data including outcome, procedural justice, and disparity data. The grant funding would also support transitional housing and job training for VTC participants in need.
