Command Post for Rural Violent Crimes Response

Grant funds will be utilized for the procurement and implementation of an advanced Mobile Command Center (MCC) for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO). The purpose of this project is to address the significant challenges faced by the CCSO due to their current outdated and unsafe MCC. The proposed MCC will serve as a crucial resource in the management of violent crime scenes, thereby enhancing officer safety, facilitating effective community response, and ensuring scene security. The primary activities involved in this project include the design and procurement of a state-of-the-art MCC equipped with cutting-edge technology. The MCC will be customized to suit the unique requirements of the CCSO, ensuring it provides optimal support during violent crime incidents.
