The City of Albany Police Department will use JAG funds for purchasing a mobile surveillance pole camera. The Department would be able to use this in areas of high crime to deter criminal activity and to quickly identify potential violators. Because this is a mobile unit, it will be able to be deployed 24/7 in any identifiable areas within the city limits.
