The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati (UC), will implement the FY23 Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation (BCJI): Community-Based Crime Reduction Training and Technical Assistance Initiative to provide TTA and support to
the BJA's final cohort of 20 BCJI Program sites.

The IACP is committed to utilizing the knowledge of current and former BCJI leaders, creating resources, and sharing them with the community to address high-crime areas. The IACP and UC will also provide comprehensive TTA services to support community leaders and their law enforcement partners, promoting coordination between community-based crime prevention and enforcement strategies and building trust. The IACP plans to review strategies and create helpful tools to aid communities in implementing
interventions using the BCJI program model.
