The proposal is to use the funds to pay towards our new Body worn cameras we recently purchased with a 5-year contract totaling $299,253.10. Last year we were given a $147,000.00 grant with the 2023 COPS Technology and Equipment Program to use towards this. We are hoping we can use the funding to help towards the difference as we were in dire need of these cameras as the old ones were outdated and needed replacing.
