Southwest Utah Cooperative Law Enforcement Project

The Southwest Utah Cooperative Law Enforcement group was formed to leverage the advantage of working together to support each other in our mission to protect the people we serve.  Through discussion, we were able to identify common needs and solutions.  The proposed project consists of equipment purchases which are financially prohibitive for our small rural agencies. The majority of the purchases will be for equipment to support law enforcement operations when responding to incidents involving hostile individuals.  Additional requests are for patrol vehicles, safety equipment for a correctional facility and a police boat.  The new equipment will strengthen our capabilities individually and cooperatively as we respond to assist each other.
