Police Safety Equipment Upgrades and Technology Modernization

The Village of Phoenix Police Department is seeking to improve the service to and safety of its residents through equipment upgrades and technology modernization. The primary activity will be to make improvements to the following areas: improve the records management software system, provide traffic safety, and officer safety equipment. With the addition of these upgrades the police department can provide better service to the residents of Phoenix as well as people that travel through the village daily. With improvements to the records management system crucial information will be available faster and shared with the officers, which can have a direct positive impact on response time and officer safety. With additional traffic safety equipment, the number and severity of traffic accidents can decrease. And lastly, with the addition of officer safety equipment the police officers will have more tools and technology to prevent and solve crime. In conclusion, with much needed equipment and technology upgrades the Village of Phoenix residents will be safer and enjoy an improved quality of life. In addition, the police officers can have what they need to protect and serve the community.
