Public Safety Equipment for University Law Enforcement

Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University proposes to upgrade and update campus policy and security department equipment. The purpose is to create and establish a phased in approach of technical improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and security measures to help identify, mitigate, and respond to potential threats that may impact the Alabama A&M campus and community. The project includes five new vehicles for Public Safety and two Administration Utility vehicles. The expected outcomes are to include a more safe and secure learning environment for our faculty, students, and surrounding neighbors.
