Louisiana District Attorney's Retention and Assistance Fund

Local District Attorneys' Offices have made tremendous strides over the last 12 months, due in significant part to strong engagement with local law enforcement and public officials to accommodate needs precipitated by a historic rise in crime. However, there is still a heightened need to hire and retain experienced assistant district attorneys within Louisiana. It is also of the utmost importance that Louisiana use every tool to retain invaluable institutional knowledge and fill critically needed positions. All funding for this project will go towards the recruitment, retention, and training of assistant district attorneys.
