Dallas Police Department Investigation Software

The City of Dallas Police Department (DPD) will utilize this funding to enhance the technological capabilities of Dallas PD’s Violent Crime Strategy Center. Grant funding will be allocated towards acquiring advanced software that is essential for improving investigative and operational efficiency to combat crimes. The groundbreaking technology merges open-source intelligence and data analysis to identify and thwart crimes against children, public safety threats, domestic violence extremism, and gang violence, among other crimes. The DPD will acquire software and licenses to operate over a period of three years. These technological enhancements will significantly bolster the police department’s ability to identify and improve crime in the City of Dallas.
