Courthouse Security Upgrades

The Grant County Courthouse is a historic building utilized extensively by the community and the Courts. Due to the need for Court Security, we must limit public access to create safer pathways to the Courts and ensure their security. The elected officials of Grant County desire to create a single point of entry to the courthouse, funneling all members of the public and employees through manned security stations before entering the buildings. This will require planning, design, construction, and public outreach. The “single point of entry” will create a secure entrance and pathway between two separate buildings. We will need to close all other entrances and exits.
