Grayson County Sheriff's Office Community Response & Safeguard Initiative

As outlined in the following paragraphs, having reliable equipment is very important, especially in cases where a deputy responds to a call by himself.  Police Cruisers typically withstand 3-5 years of service averaging 100,000-150,000 miles. Once a Police Cruiser reaches these maximums the cost efficiency is significantly reduced because warranties expire and wear / tear on the vehicle will require parts to be replaced. Grayson County is a rural community with numerous back roads that often cause damage to vehicles while deputies are responding to emergency situations, if afforded this grant these new upgraded vehicles would help protect our deputies and community members.
