Bomb Squad Upgrades

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office is applying for our Bomb Squad Upgrades. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) serves as a regional asset for law enforcement agencies by offering specialized equipment and highly trained personnel to assist in law enforcement operations. This project will fund enhanced safety equipment for our Bomb Squad Technicians and our Arson Task Force Investigators, as a primary resource to post blast events. Furthermore, this project will fund forensic equipment that will aid in the collection of evidence and investigations involving our explosive ordinance disposal unit, field/laboratory forensics and Arson Task Force Investigators. Having this project funded will enhance the efforts of the Henderson County Sheriff's Office by expanding the services not only to Henderson County, but Western North Carolina.
