The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), Law Enforcement and Traffic

target the risk factors that are likely to lead to this kind of violence. Grant applications have
been solicited by ADECA/LETS and analyzed in accordance with criteria outlined below. Each proposal
has been summarized, and a funding recommendation is presented to the Bureau of Justice Assistance
(BJA) for consideration. The following summaries and recommendations were approved by Alabama'
State Crisis Intervention Advisory Board on November 21, 2024. Final subaward approval must also be
received from BJA. ADECA/LETS expects to announce decisions (awards and denials) in December 2024.
