CTAS Application Proposal Abstract

The Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation is a federally recognized tribal entity located in Ibapah, Utah. With this funding, the tribe will address concerns that relate to Tribal Law Enforcement; emergency services; vigilantism; and substance misuse including methamphetamine and alcohol. The tribe intends to promote community safety by providing a reliable and accessible law enforcement presence, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs, including partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations. The prevention and intervention strategies will be tailored to the needs of the community. Through this award, the tribe will enhance collaboration and partnerships with external agencies, non-profit organizations, and government entities to leverage resources and expertise in addressing crime and public safety issues.
