The Organized Village of Kake is a federally recognized tribe located in Kake, Alaska. The Village is in rural and remote Southeast Alaska. With this funding, the tribe will develop a Comprehensive Justice System Strategic Plan that focuses on restorative, placed-based, and problem-solving approaches for the community of Kake that embraces a community policing philosophy. The Tribe will also develop Cross-Jurisdictional agreements as part of the planning process.
