Humboldt County Adult Drug Court Enhancement

This proposal seeks funding to enhance the Adult Drug Court to serve Winnemucca, Nevada. The project aims to enhance the court's capacity to provide comprehensive services, including residential and intensive outpatient treatment, and medication-assisted treatment to individuals with substance use disorders. The primary activities will involve expanding the court's partnerships to expand the continuum of care, training staff on best practices, and integrating a robust follow-up system to track long-term recovery outcomes. The expected outcomes include a reduction in recidivism rates, improved participant well-being, and increased community safety. The service area encompasses Humboldt County, Nevada with the intended beneficiaries being adults charged with drug-related offenses who are at high risk of continued criminal behavior and substance abuse.
