Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $1,138,709)

The New Hampshire Judicial Branch requests funding to fund a 48-month Assessment Project for its Adult Drug Court Program (DCP) according to the statewide category of the FY2024 Adult Drug Court Program, to fund a 48-month assessment project for DCP. The program will achieve the following objectives: conduct Racial and Ethnic Disparities Program Assessment Tool to help treatment court professionals identify and examine areas where racial and ethnic disparities may exist in their court programs, and participant outcomes; enhance the statewide drug court database to support recidivism tracking and improve utilization; expand evidence-based practices training and team cohesion training by providing a minimum of eight trainings annually statewide that are available to all DCPs; and address barriers to treatment access by providing transportation services by making a minimum of 2700 rides available to drug court participants statewide through the life of the grant.
