FY24 Project Safe Neighborhoods for the Western District of Kentucky

Coordinated by the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for the Western District of Kentucky, the Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Team's 2024 grant strategy will focus on reducing violent crime within the District. Funds will be used to implement the PSN Team's crime reduction strategy aimed at reducing homicides, non-fatal shootings, and car jackings in Louisville and other Western Kentucky jurisdictions by investing in community-based prevention and intervention strategies with an emphasis on engaging at-risk youth. The PSN Team will subaward funds to one or more eligible subrecipients to implement crime reduction initiatives. At the time of application, subrecipients of 2024 award funds have not yet been selected.
