Hasbrouck Heights Police Department Body-Worn Camera Initiative

Through the FY24 USBJA Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program, the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department is requesting funds to support the purchase of 14 BWCs and the development of policies and procedures surrounding their use. Hasbrouck Heights Police Department is committed to promoting civil rights and racial equity, increasing access to justice, supporting crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthening community safety, protecting the public from crime and evolving threats, and building trust between law enforcement and the community, in alignment with the goals outlined by the US Department of Justice > Bureau of Justice Assistance > Office of Justice Programs.
