The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Choctaw Tribal Court – Court Services is on a continuous path to improve, expand and make the necessary adjustment to better suite our clients. The Tribal Court Services proposes implementing the Together We’ll Help Each Other to Heal “Illiyapillat Oklai Masalachih” project. The purpose of this project is to provide evidence based, cognitive behavioral types of therapeutic services geared towards Substance Abuse, Anger Management and Batter’s Re-Educational.   The purpose is to develop a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, trauma-informed and best practices community-based program for individuals to change their behavior, reduce anger, physical aggression and relational aggression. The intent is to provide a 16-session and a 12-session, manualized intervention group that uses a cognitive–behavioral framework and teaches participants emotion regulation, coping, communication skills, cognitive restructuring, and problem.
