We will be using funding for new patrol rifles to replace old/outdated patrol rifles in an effort to give everyone the same rifles.

The Pickens County Sheriff's Office is applying for JAG funding to purchase AR-15 (patrol rifles). The Sheriff's Office purchased 25 new AR-15 rifles with JAG funding from last year and are planning to use the funds to purchase additional AR-15 rifles to replace older, outdated rifles. The purchase will allow the Pickens County Sheriff's Office to equip most all deputies with a newer style rifle.
